Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest.

Deathblade, shadow hunter, berserker, sorc are really fun to level, because they don't require you to think at all during the leveling phase, it's just a straight playstyle with eye-candy skills. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots.
